81. a post in a while
I'm sorry, long time since I posted. In fact, 6 days. Which I think is, for my blog, a record. And, even this post I am so lazy to type out. (I only go back to typing when I am tired of my work. Like now. So, this post will eventually take hours to complete.) The main reasons why I actually didn't blog for the past week is, obviously homework, etc. But sometimes, I just type the post halfway, and realise that I'm too lazy to post anymore, so I stop. And I delete the post. But this post, I'd post.
The past week...came and go quite quickly. But, actually if you come to think of it, every single week is coming and going so quickly, you can't even track time. Time is moving faster than ever before, it's moving faster than it has in primary school. They say time flies when you're having fun. Then, shouldn't time fly faster in primary school? But...I guess time flies too when you're under the pressure of so many deadlines. Deadline Chasers, it's a very ideal group name for my Life Science group. Actually, I quite enjoy secondary school life. Not in the sense that we are very under pressure. But more in the sense that, the projects that we do are finally making more sense, the subjects we study are becoming more interesting, the stuff we do actually involves more bonding between classmates, etc. So, yeah, the past week was busy! So busy, I had no time to remember all the details!
There are basically two things I want to blog about pertaining last week.
That on Friday, we were being so childish at the playground. I think it's the most fun playground in the Hougang vicinity! We were swinging here, and bouncing there and whatnot. And for Yuchi, it seemed so much like a deja vu replayed for the hundredth time already! I think it was really fun there, although it started raining soon after. (It's funny to blog about one week ago.)
And on my progress report.
Art - 71% (A2)
I think I could have scored an A1 if I didn't slipshod-ly hand in my final two pieces of art (that in the end gotten 16/30 and 17/30)! I will strive for A1!
Science (A1)
Biology - 70%, 80% (A1)
BIOLOGY!
Physics - 88% (A1)
Boring subject but easy to score.
Chinese - 65%, 53% (C5)
My Chinese is now pulling all my marks down. From a B3 down to a C5. The tests are getting harder! I think I must pull it up somewhere to a B3 again...
D&T - 90% (A1)
This is for theory, and I'm not even sure how I'm going to do for the practical part of D&T.
EL - 57%, 78%, 76%, 60% (B3)
I so need to buck up on my English! The scores for my languages are really disturbing. I need to put in more effort for English projects.
History - 88% (A1)
It's quite a boring subject, but enlightening.
Literature - 82%, 87% (A1)
Previously a C5 subject, but it will be so pulled up by this term's test and project.
Maths - 50%, 76%, 88% (A2)
Yet another depressing subject. Truth is, I don't do well with numbers. I cannot do math. The logic behind maths screws my brains up. And why can't we opt not to take maths! When people score their high A1s for this subject, I settle for an A2. And I'm inconsistent in math scores.
Statistics
A1s- 4
A2s- 2
B3s- 1
C5s- 1
Personally, it seems almost identical to my CA marks. My English is the same grade, and around the same score as last time, which is my second lowest grade actually, a B3. And I had one C5 for CA, just that then it was literature, and now it is Chinese. Thus, I am fated to suffer one B3 and one C5 every time. And I must get rid of this. Somehow, the three subjects I really need to work on is English, Chinese and Maths. But the problem is languages can't be studied. And maths simply screws me up. Or at least I screw maths up. Excuses, I know. I have to do something, somehow.
And how we should really start studying for EOYs already. I haven't started. My long forgotten facts of science...my long forgotten formulas of maths...my long forgotten formats of letter writing(!). And I should REALLY start studying already. Because, I am supposed to start so darn long, and I think I'm going to fail maths if I don't start studying.
And off to today! It wasn't exactly a good day in school today! I think the day came by as sleepy! During IT lessons were the worst, I think 90% of the class didn't complete the invader and chair for the Cinema 4D!
- short for time! blog tomorrow! -
